First Kirsten rode on Pedro the Pony. He is her cousin, Victoria's, Pony, so she is used to having little girls on her back. She rode around the pen for a while and then Sarah joined her and they headed down to the creek so we could be in the shade. She spent some time brushing Pedro, but she kept trying to go behind him to brush his tail, so we had to put an end to that. Then she got to ride a full size horse, Ringo. Ringo is a descendant of Twila, the first horse my mother's family ever had back in the 60's.

We spent Saturday afternoon riding the go-cart, and working in the garden and then had a barbecue and Iva and Cole's house.
Saturday night we went to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert at OU in Norman. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Kirsten loved being able to hear "her choir" live instead of just on a CD. She was entranced by the music, she just sat there on the edge of her seat listening intently. She was sad when it was over, but quickly perked up when we told her we were going to see Uncle Larry. My Uncle Larry plays the French Horn in the Orchestra at Temple Square that tours with the choir. We were able to go to Braum's with him afterwards and enjoy his company. Kirsten physically attatched herself to him and would not stop giving him hugs, kisses, and cuddles, not even to eat her ice cream.
We sure had a great weekend. Thank you so much mom for getting us the tickets and Grandma and Grandpa for letting us stay with you. Kirsten, Sarah and Kaley loved seeing all of you. She is already asking when we get to go back. Now we are all exhausted and ready for another busy week.
