The morning after

We woke up this morning to a total snowfall of 12.5 inches. It is a record for us. We cannot even get down our driveway, so Jeremy is working from home today.

The snow was up to Kirsten's knees in some places, and there were a few times that I took a step and almost fell because I sank so deep.

Kirsten decided that we needed to shovel the snow, not sure where she got that from.

Here is our snowman masterpiece. It was a unique experience for all of us to make a snowman and still have snow left over when we were done! She made sure that it was complete with a carrot nose and buttons for the eyes.

Kirsten and I spent about 2 hours out back running all over the yard and having the ultimate snowball fight. We made snow angels and sometimes just laid down and rolled around in the snow. Jeremy came out to join us when he could, but you know, he is working today =) This snow has actually been a lot of fun, and I am glad that we were all able to play in it today.
