Red Rhythm Clinic

This month, Kirsten was able to go to a Saturday clinic with the Liberty High School Red Rhythm Drill Team.  She was paired up with Jessica for the day.
They spent 6 hours working on dancing and learning dances to do together. That evening we went up to the High School for her performance.
The theme was the Wizard of Oz and they danced to Jazz versions of the music from the movie.
Kirsten was so worn out that she fell asleep at the dinner table that night.
The following Friday, she was able to go to the High School football game to perform with the drill team.
They joined the Red Rhythm for the pre-game victory line up.
She even learned some of the pom drills that they do and was able to join in.

Katie really enjoyed the football game too and loved cheering on her big sister.
Kirsten had such a great time and learned so much.  She has since started a Jazz class at her dance studio in addition to her two ballet classes. She says she wants to be on the drill team in high school. We will have to see about that...

She is such a talented little girl and I love watching her develop her talents.
