Kirsten's Dance Recital

Kirsten's dance recital this year took us into unchartered territory since she now does multiple classes every week.  It took us 6 hours of dress rehearsals on Friday and 9 hours of recital on Saturday.  Jeremy was great on Saturday and entertained Katie in the foyer in between dances while I was backstage taking care of the hair, makeup, and costume changes.  During the morning recital she performed one of her ballet numbers.  Our good friend Rachel Lenderman was also there performing and they loved being able to support each other.
In the afternoon we had a ballet number first.
And we were joined by Grandma and Grandpa Alleman and Megan.
As well as Grandma and Grandpa Lowe.
She finished the performance with a Jazz number to Splish Splash!
 Daddy with his girls!
And my girls with their Megan!
We are so proud of our Kirsten and the hard work that she has put in this past year.  She has truly blossomed and matured as a dancer.   We can hardly wait to see what the future will bring for our shining star!
